House Passes Landmark Medicare Drug Bill
The House voted 220-215 on Saturday morning to pass the bill after Republican leaders kept what normally would have been a 15-minute vote open for nearly three hours as they battled to avoid defeat.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California accused Republicans of an "abuse of power" and likened it to the contested 2000 presidential elections in Florida. "I guess it's in their DNA," she said. "They just can't play by the rules."

Can these guys ever be fair? Why isn't holding the vote open that long illegal?
