U.S. Helicopter Shot Down in Iraq, at Least 13 Dead
Guerrillas shot down a U.S. helicopter in Iraq on Sunday, killing at least 13 soldiers and wounding 20 people in the bloodiest single strike on U.S.-led forces since they invaded Iraq to oust Saddam Hussein.

A couple hours later the toll was up to 15. The day wasn't over yet.
