It's All About Me:

At 6:05PM yesterday, CBS local news, there was, indeed, a story about "all those people who have to work on Christmas".

I had a wonderful Christmas. I am so lucky to have my parents still with me, lucky that they get along with each other, lucky that they love me so much. I had all three of my "furbabies" with me, and spoiled 'em silly. We got a couple inches of snow Christmas Eve, perfect timing because it will all melt today. I went to see LOTR with Dad, what will we do next year now that the series is complete? How did three years go by so fast?

Presents- Buffy Season Two DVD's, Sarah Michelle Gellar at her finest! Yum! A recorder that I hope I can put to use to capture some of the things that I think; I have to get used to hearing my own voice first. It's kinda creepy. Another gold necklace. I asked my Mom if wearing three gold chains made me look like a pimp. Some Halston perfume; I haven't had that in years. It reminds me of Wendy. A pretty Fenton cat. And, of course, I can't forget this wonderful computer that has become so central in my life. Hope she doesn't go bad on me! Still looking for that smokeless ashtray...

Cool stuff, man. I am blessed.

Never heard from any of my friends, that made me kind of sad. I'm never more acutely aware of how alone I feel in this world until a holiday comes along and reminds me of it. I realize that it is a busy day, and, hey, I could reach out, too, but I don't want to bother anybody. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

I'm going to enjoy these next few days off...
