Yahoo! News - Patriots, Panthers to Meet in Super Bowl
Carolina's Jake Delhomme wants a good night's sleep before thinking about the New England defense. Tom Brady probably feels the same way about the Panthers.

A big task awaits both quarterbacks in the surprising Super Bowl matchup between the Panthers and Patriots on Feb. 1 in Houston: How will they score enough points to win?

On the surface I have to give the nod to New England. Amazing execution, both offense and defense. Their offensive line is phenomenal, and the often under-rated Tom Brady is cool, collected and confident. They are a very well rounded team, and they look unbeatable.

The Panthers have a very fast, tenacious and hard-hitting D, and their running game ain’t too shabby, either. Davis with a couple weeks of rest might be back to full strength; look out if he finds ways to break through. They play with a lot of heart, and find ways to win. Like the Marlins in baseball, they often aren’t taken seriously and I think that might come back to haunt the Patriots.

So, my head says New England, but I’m going to follow my heart and say Panthers by 4.
