Notes: Prior set for simulated game
PHOENIX -- Mark Prior will have another bullpen session on Tuesday and if all goes well, he will throw a simulated game at the end of the week at the Chicago Cubs' extended Spring Training camp.

Prior won't be alone in Mesa, Ariz. Reliever Mike Remlinger also will stay behind to throw as well as pitcher Ryan Dempster, who is continuing his rehab from Tommy John surgery last August. Remlinger, who had arthroscopic shoulder surgery last October, threw off a mound for the second time on Sunday.

Even though Prior will finally see game action, don't pencil him into the Cubs' rotation just yet.

"The time table depends on how he's feeling and how he's progressing," Cubs manager Dusty Baker said. "Everybody wants a definitive timetable but I'd be guessing."

Here's some good news.
