Yahoo! News - CNN's Lou Dobbs Accused of 'Jihad' for U.S. Jobs
DETROIT (Reuters) - The head of a group representing the chief executive officers of America's largest corporations on Monday accused CNN's Lou Dobbs of alarmist "one-sided" reporting about outsourcing and the shipping of U.S. jobs overseas.

"He's on a jihad," John Castellani, president of the Washington-based Business Roundtable, told reporters.

"It's as if whatever made Linda Blair's head spin around in 'The Exorcist' has invaded the body of Lou Dobbs and left him with the brain of (Democratic presidential candidate) Dennis Kucinich."

Castellani made the comments after giving a speech to the Detroit Economic Club in which he vigorously defended outsourcing and warned against "bone-headed solutions" such as trade barriers to protect American workers.

Castellani contends that outsourcing and free trade reduce prices and costs, while ultimately helping to create new, higher wage jobs in the United States. His speech was entitled "The Myth of the Outsourcing Threat."

Dobbs, a CNN veteran, told Reuters in a telephone interview that Castellani had declined repeated invitations to appear on his show, citing scheduling conflicts.

That's the new neocon way, isn't it? Refuse to prove your accusations or answer any questions and sit back and fling out buzzwords such as "terrorist" and "jihad" as you personally attack your critics. And America buys this shit. Disgusting.
