It's All About The Cubs:

Who can't seem to score any runs. Now it's time to start looking at Dusty, kids.

My proposed batting order-

1-Corey Patterson CF- He finds a way to get on base. He fouls off pitches forever (wearing out the opponent's starter), he beats out bunts, he has the speed for steals when he reaches. It's the only logical choice.

2-Todd Walker SS- I don't care if the guy has never played short in his life, I want his bat in the order right now. Let him boot a few, he'll get used to it. It seems f'ing ridiculous to have Ordonez on the team, let alone in the starting line up.

3- Moises Alou LF- Although he has been slumping lately (haven't they all), I think that third is a good place for him.

4- Derrek Lee 1B- The only one who has been worth a shit lately, he needs to bat cleanup.

5- Aramis Ramirez 3B- If Lee can't get 'em in, Amaris probably will.

6- Todd Grudzielanek 2B- Need a solid hitter here. He's hitting close to 300, I believe.

7- Michael Barrett C- Again we need baserunners at this point. After last night, I never, ever want to see Bako again. I don't care if he is "Greg's catcher", tough shit. I'm done with him. Grudzie and Barrett can set up for-

8- Sammy Sosa RF- Yes, it seems weird to have him so low in the order, but I'm tired of him striking out so much and taking away momentum from the start of the game. Sorry Sam, down you go. Maybe it will wake him up a bit, and we need some power in the bottom of the lineup. One complaint I have about Dusty is his lineup's have zilch in the 7th, 8th and 9th spot, and it wastes any hits 5 and 6 put up.

9- Whoever's pitching.

Something has got to give. And knock off this "Wild Card" talk, also. Stop admitting defeat- there is still a half a season to go.
