Yahoo! Sports - MLB - MRI shows no damage to Prior's elbow
CHICAGO (AP) -- Cubs right-hander Mark Prior has no nerve or ligament damage in his elbow, an MRI exam showed Friday.

Prior had to leave Thursday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers in the second inning with discomfort in the right elbow. He'd missed the first two months this season because of Achilles tendon tendinitis and a tender elbow.

``There is absolutely no possibility of 'Tommy John' or ligament reconstruction or anything like that,'' general manager Jim Hendry said Friday said after talking with team doctors.

Everybody say "whew". I hope they can find out what's wrong.
