Yahoo! News - Hurricane Jeanne Hits Florida Where Frances Struck
FORT PIERCE, Fla. (Reuters) - Hurricane Jeanne ripped away roofs, whirled debris through the air and cut power to more than 800,000 customers as it slammed into Florida late on Saturday, delivering an extraordinary one-two punch to a coastal region scarred by Hurricane Frances three weeks ago.

Whipping rain around like a carwash, Jeanne carried winds of 120 mph when it charged into the central east coast as a record fourth hurricane to hit the state in a single year.

Its eye made landfall late on Saturday night very close to the spot where Frances hit on Sept. 5 -- near the southern end of Hutchinson Island just east of the city of Stuart, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

Obviously God is trying to wipe out Florida so it doesn't screw up the election again. (tounge-in-cheek)

Seriously, my heart goes out to the people down there. Good luck folks.
