Al "I was the first one laid-off" Gore speaks to the congregation at the Macedonia Baptist Church. This picture took an incredible amount of work to get this clear: the church was dark, I was about halfway back, most of my shots didn't turn out. Unfortunately things were moving so fast that I couldn't get any outdoor shots of him.

His speech was short, amusing and to the point. The jist was "GET OUT AND VOTE! EVERY VOTE COUNTS!" And he should know better than anyone about that.

I got to meet Al (and Tipper too!) as they were leaving. I scooted outside and shook his hand, told him thanks for coming to town. They both seemed tired and a bit dazed. Off they went to the next church.
