WOODTV.com & WOOD TV8 - Betsy DeVos quitting after six years as state GOP chief
LANSING, Mich. Six-year Michigan Republican Chairwoman Betsy DeVos will step down in February.

The 46-year-old DeVos says it always had been her intention to leave the job after leading efforts to re-elect President Bush. The president won a second term Tuesday but lost in Michigan.

During DeVos's tenure, the state G-O-P erased a one-point-two (m) million-dollar debt.

DeVos won't comment on speculation about what she'll do next.

Hey Betsy! Door! Ass! Buh-bye! Let's hope she doesn't run for Governor.
