It's All About eBay:

Sorry about the lack of postings. I've burnt out on the Georgie and the Righteous Republicans. None too happy with the Danicin' Democrats either. Day after day of bad news starts to take it's toll, you know?

I'm getting into eBay, selling some of my collectible music stuff. I can see how it's addicting, checking your auctions and feeling that rush when someone bids on something. Problem is, getting the product. The hot product. The hot product cheap. The lament of all business. You know what's hot? Old heavy metal concert t-shirts from the 80's. That's right, if you have any Judas Priest t-shirts that are in fairly good condition, you can get $40 or so bucks for them.

Go figure.

A trip to the so-called "thrift" stores looking for such items brought no luck. Shoot, they used to sell t's for a quarter. Now the are $1.99 (or more). Couldn't find anything "vintage" either. Everything was fairly new.

Need those garage and yard sales to start soon.

For one who rants and rails against material excess in this country, doing the eBay thing is like the preacher hanging out at the porno store. It feels foreign and weird, but, hey, I've got bills to pay.

Got any t-shirts to donate?
