Supermoon San Francisco Bay

IMG_3085_8786_filteredbig

From Pier 14 on the Embarcadero, looking towards Oakland - best I could catch the Supermoon while it was still orange.

It was an incredibly hazy day yesterday, you couldn't even make out the outline of the hills while it was still daylight. That's a first for me since I've been here (aside from rainy/foggy days). As a result, it was hard to capture this clearly while it was rising. And, even after it got up in the sky, it was still hard to get detail. There were some other photographers out there with some serious cameras/lenses - would love to see what they came up with.

Have some others that have the bridge and city lights, will add those below as I work on them today. The sun is calling my name though... hard to sit in an apartment when California is waiting outside your window...

Update: Here's one - this is the SF end of the bridge.
