It's All About The Vote:

Cognitive dissonance. I don't know how I'm going to be able to pull the lever for anyone that voted for the War or the Patriot Act. This includes my beloved Senators and the front runners in the Dem race. It's all beginning to look like the same monster to me. None of these guys are going to stick up for gay rights, either. I didn't hear any rebuttals to Bush's threats of a constitutional amendment.

But, how can I not vote for the only chance of throwing Bush out?

In the end, I'm sure I will vote Dem. But more and more I find myself thinking of voting Green so I can live with myself.

Maybe I should just be like my friends and accept second class citizenship and tune out altogether. They are happy being oblivious.
