Yahoo! News - Panthers Stand Firm to Stun Rams in Second Overtime
ST LOUIS (Reuters) - The Carolina Panthers blew a late 11-point lead but bounced back to stun the St Louis Rams 29-23 on a 69-yard Steve Smith touchdown on the first play of second overtime in an NFC divisional round playoff on Saturday.

Smith's reception of Jake Delhomme (news)'s pass rocked the NFL's most dominant home team and their sellout crowd of 66,165 after kickers from both teams had narrowly missed opportunities earlier in overtime.

"Just look at this hair," joked silver-haired Carolina coach John Fox.

"There were a lot of emotions. I've never seen a game quite like that and there were as big peaks and lows as you can have in a football game."

This was one of the best football games I have ever seen, and I have been watching football for going on 30 years now. I was completely drained afterwards! Go Panthers!
