A Fun Fact:

The Cubs were 47-47 at the All-Star break last year, and in third place, three games behind the Houston Astros.

Although eight games out at this point looks like a daunting task, let's remember we were only .500 last year. This could (and should) turn around in the second half.

Wood comes back.
Gonzo comes back.(bye bye Ordonez)
Ramirez comes back.
Hollandsworth comes back.

Rusch adjusts to bullpen duties. Becomes a solid relief man.
Borowski is still a question mark, but might be a valuable piece if he gets it together. I trust him a bit more than Remlinger and Mercker. (but just a bit)

If we get everyone back healthy and over their "slumps", I still think we have the best ballclub in the majors.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE!
