The calm, the sunlight, the nature, the oh-so-blue sky and water. Tranquility.
I live in a beautiful state. In 2006, may my camera's eye find the beauty and bounty in Michigan that I am, at times, too troubled or distracted to see. May I remember what serenity lies in nature and to seek it out more often.
When the events of 2006 threaten to darken the skies and churn the water, may I remember this picture and know that peace is on the other side.
