Might try this again tonight if I am up- couldn't quite get the clarity I wanted.
Is it the lens? Is it the camera settings? I tried all sorts of different things, sitting by Reeds Lake last night, freezing because I was too stupid to bring a sweatshirt.
Not really sure what it was, but I did make one discovery- something I actually knew deep down inside but have been avoiding for months...
The image playback on my camera always looked a little fuzzy. S'ok, clears up when I get them on the computer, right? Just lived with it all this time. No big deal.
This morning, as I was trying to process these pictures and wondering why it wasn't quite working out the way I wanted, I realized it's not the camera.
It's my eyes.
I have to start taking my reading glasses (which I rarely use for reading, but I should start) along with me so I can see what is happening when I play with the settings.
And now, looking back at some of my pictures- some of them look a tad over-sharpened.
Which means I have to start wearing them when I process, too.
Damn. After a lifetime of perfect vision...
