I wasn't going to say anything about this - but what the heck. Let it serve as a good warning to all you kiddies out there who are looking at politics as a career path.
One lesson I've learned, usually the hard way? Trust no one. Or, just be honest about who you are and why you are here and you'll be fine (you might not get very far running for office doing that though) - because you never know when one of the top Jedi consultants will turn to the dark side of The Force.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder has added an experienced campaigner for Democrats to his team.
The Snyder campaign said Friday that Chris De Witt has been added as a senior adviser.
De Witt previously has worked for Democrats including Gov. Jennifer Granholm, U.S. Sen. Carl Levin and former Attorney General Frank Kelley. De Witt worked with Democratic Lt. Gov. John Cherry's campaign until Cherry decided not to seek the Democratic nomination for governor this year.
Knife, meet back.
Oh and one other thing - learn your platitudes! Say things like:
"I wish Mr. DeWitt well in all his future endeavors".
Hey, it's working for Snyder, it will work for you too.
