Lansing State Journal:Prior nearly perfect in Olds Park start
Nine batters and nine outs.

No more and no less was expected out of Chicago Cubs right-handed pitching ace Mark Prior when he took the mound for a rehabilitation start for the Lugnuts at Oldsmobile Park on Thursday night.

And Prior delivered - 42 times in fact - in Lansing's 2-1 victory.

In three hitless innings, Prior struck out five batters, walked one, induced three flyouts and helped catcher Jake Fox with a quick pitch to nab a base stealer.

"I wasn't holding anything back," Prior said. "I went out there and pitched like it was a real game ... like I was at Wrigley."
